Contract for Legal Services

Parties Yuma Community Legal Services, referred “YCLS,” Client, referred “Client.”
Scope Services YCLS agrees to provide legal representation and counsel to the Client in the following matters: family law, immigration, landlord-tenant disputes, and other civil legal matters. YCLS will also provide legal education and outreach programs to the Yuma community.
Terms Engagement The engagement of YCLS by the Client shall commence upon the signing of this Contract and shall continue until the completion of the legal matter, unless terminated earlier by mutual agreement or as provided by law.
Compensation The Client agrees to pay YCLS for legal services rendered at the rate of $X per hour. YCLS may also recover expenses incurred in the course of representing the Client, subject to applicable laws and regulations.
Confidentiality YCLS agrees to maintain the confidentiality of all information provided by the Client, in accordance with applicable state and federal laws governing attorney-client privilege.
Termination This Contract may be terminated by either party upon written notice to the other party. Upon termination, YCLS shall be entitled to compensation for services rendered up to the date of termination.
